This is the section of my story site which will change most often. I might showcase a particular short story and my favorite story links of the moment. Click on anything green. They're the links! (Except the pictures to the left. They're just green pictures)

MyStorypage is proud to announce the first 7 cells of 'The Layby; The Comic' This is my first venture into the world of graphic stories. It naturally has to be a little less complex than the original story The Layby . Eventually it'll be laid out better, but for now click HERE to check it out!

I've written stories in a variety of lengths and styles. I-Me am Widget is perhaps the strangest, and the shortest, with the exception of my Flash Fiction . I can't decide which I like best but it would a close tie between The Lost Scent of war which is truly alien and has had the best feedback or The Layby which is more traditional sci-fi.

You could call this a commercial link. Not a short story to be seen, but it's my own business site, so what can you say? It's also because of this I can afford to host this for free. We offer a flexible, low cost solution to everyones design needs. We start with the smallest of jobs, from manipulation or cleaning of a single photo, through new logo and icon design, vectorisation and up to large scale bulk image processing. Flexides

What is flash fiction? Well simply it's very very short fiction. There's differing opinion as to how short but I'm setting myself a harsh line. 100 words exactly, and it still needs to be a story! My friend Dave set me the task of starting one with '(so and so) was different'. That was my first. You'll find it, along with others in my flash fiction section

I guess I've drawn inspiration from a whole heap of great writers, maybe too many to list but I'm going to mention some of the best. The list will start off small but it will grow over time as I search out those reads hidden by time, the trauma of adolescence or more likely, alcohol. My Favorite Books.

A person always needs somewhere to dump all that stuff they don't know what to do with. This is it. It's a bit like an attic, a cellar or a maybe a shed but I've never had any of those so for me it's that smallest room fills up with that sometimes fascinating but often useless stuff.
