So, while i'm writing this I'm not sure what I want to put in here. I've not been on the scene long enough to accumulate what I'd want to call junk.

Ahh, but now i've started I remember this isn't the first incarnation of Mystorypage to hit the web. Lets start there!

Myoldstorypage:: an exercise in green

If you look to the left you'll notice a tasteful strip of green images. How could you have missed them, especially if you're still foolish enough to surf the web with a screen resolution of 600x800.
No insult intended.

Anyway, those images, at least the background colour is an inheritance from the first www.mystorypage.com. There was another that followed yet while the first was simply tasteless in what I believe was a kind of endearing way, its successor was ultimately just crap! Before we go there, and as a way of getting you there I will show you a few banners that have made it out into the web in one form or another.

Clicking on either of those will take you the old and I must warn you, 'visually dangerous' web-site. If you can change the brightness or contrast settings then maybe you should before you proceed. If you are using 800x600 resolution you are in for even more of a treat.
What else?.....
Like I said, my dumping ground is fairly empty so far. I'll let the site collect some dust and then it'll be ready for some spring cleaning. With no traffic to speak of so far I can't call anything on the site 'old'!

So to something new.....why put something new in the cellar? well 'cause maybe it's just a little scary, or actually maybe just a little sad. yes, sad and a bit childish. Don't sad and childish things go in the attic?...anyway I'm babbling and stretching this metaphor way too far.
What I've been doing, in a hugely successful attempt to avoid the real work of writing is designing little sprites that wander up the grey bar to the right of the green images over there <<<<<<<. It's reeeeally low tech as they only move when you scroll the page but I'm neither an artist (as you can tell) or a web designer (or at least not a very good one).
If you look around you'll find a few. Should you bother? Why is this even worthy to make it onto the site? OK, i'll be honest. It's just an attempt to get people, yes you, to click round the site a little and maybe while you're here you might read some of the stories you find. And that has finally reminded me that it's the stories I'm here for. So thats what I'm off to do. Go Read some too. Bye for now.
